HISTORY OF MADRID.
Madrid was not always as good as it is today. It was not even the capital of Spain until 1561. Madrid was called Madrid since moorish people built a wall called Majerit. It is not even a spanish word but with a spanish acent, they changed it to Madrid.
It has had a lot of problems with reconquist in the capital.
Finally, everything became as normal as always and now times, Madrid is still the capital of the country.
